Sustainability at decor metall

The commitment to responsible behaviour in business is an integral part of our management and corporate culture. The activities related to this are all part of the »Corporate Social Responsibility« (CRS) which also includes the aspect of »Sustainability«. The three pillars of our sustainability concept target the areas Economy, Environment and Society.  We aim to contribute to the sustainable development of the economy, environment and society with particular consideration to the interests of future generations.

Economy

Our goal is the long term protection of our company as a stable basis for employment and wealth.

We pursue a strategy for long term success and healthy growth. The company cultivates long term relationships with its customers as a reliable and trusted partner.

All business processes are subject to continuous improvement (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.); a risk management system is also in place. Our permanent target is to find the best equilibrium of economic efficiency and sustainability.

Environment

decor metall assumes responsibility for the environment

Responsibility with regards to the environment means taking a comprehensive view of the subject and acting accordingly. Therefore, our commitment to the environment stretches across the entire supply chain: procurement, manufacturing and the properties of the final product. Many measures are taken for the implementation: the compliance with environmental directives, a reduction of chemical substances that are harmful to health or environment, the environmental representative, the purchasing of certified wood and our certified environment management system (according to ISO 14001/EMAS III*).
