Responsibility with regards to the environment means taking a comprehensive view of the subject and acting accordingly. Therefore, our commitment to the environment stretches across the entire supply chain: procurement, manufacturing and the properties of the final product. Many measures are taken for the implementation: the compliance with environmental directives, a reduction of chemical substances that are harmful to health or environment, the environmental representative, the purchasing of certified wood and our certified environment management system (according to ISO 14001/EMAS III).

Environmentally friendly manufacturing processes:

  • Air pollution control and water savings especially by reduction of emissions in surface finishing (powder coating with solvent-free/emission-free paint, free of formaldehyde/PCB)
  • Energy efficiency/CO2 reduction with targeted use of energy/energy recycling and the use of efficient devices
  • Reduction of energy consumption, emissions and waste as a consequence of continuous process improvement

Careful use of resources:

  • Preferred use of environmentally friendly materials (e.g. steel because of its longer economic life and complete recyclability)

  • Selection of electronic components based on their energy efficiency (particularly lightning or cooling components)
  • Manufacturing "made in Germany" and avoidance of long transport routes by purchasing local
